Malima bunches hold a lot more moisture than those of other farms, because we deliberately put our flowers into a hydration and opening process that results in having much more open and voluminous gyp than what other farms do.
This inevitably makes that our bunches transpire more during the transit from Ecuador to its final destination, and this contributes to having some mold showing on the paper. But this is a good thing. Here is the reason why:
